Ibis Hotel Northampton Centre

The family room was spacious enough for us and we enjoyed the tasty BBQ chicken wings at the restaurant. The friendly staff was very accommodating, especially Mavis, were great to assist us.

My kids wished the room had better soundproofing to block out the noise from neighboring rooms. A more peaceful atmosphere would make it better for family stays.

I thoroughly enjoyed good sized room in this hotel.

it had magnificent and perfect location close to the market square. i spent here 1 good day and would come there again.

I booked a room with an extremely comfy bed, central heating, multi-channel TV, and coffee/tea makers. This hotel was located in a central area very close to the centre of Northampton and the train station and shops and the nightclub below.

Big, spacious room with comfortable double bed. Very close to the train station; easy walking distance with luggage.

The sink was really stupid. The plug could not be kept out and had to be held open to drain the water; not so pleasant.

Great location, very near to plenty of shops & nightlife. Room was very clean and had everything needed - bed/cabinets, wardrobe, drawers, desk/lamp, tv with pay channels if wanted, internet, tea & coffee making, shower, sink & loo, shaver socket, hairdryer. Snacks available 24hrs - we had a 4 cheese pizza at gone midnight - very nice and not too expensive. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices to suit all tastes. Would return here no probs.

Was kept awake most of the FRiday night with noise from other guests , mainly kids.

Useless broadband in room for extortionate costs; over-priced breakfast charge if you don't want full english; plastic cover on top of mattress as if I'm going to wet the bed; advertised 'discount' car park charge is actually more than you would pay anyway at the car park machine; poor reception staff apart from one guy; this hotel is pants!

Very slow to check in. The beds are really basic. Look like something from an army dorm.

It had no air conditioning and we had to leave the window open and as we on the main rd there was a lot of noise. Long walk from lift to our room and on last day door card wouldnt work so had to walk all the way back down etc, anoying.

Conveniently situated within walking distance of the railway station and town centre; good public transport connections to my destination in Northampton. Opportunity to have a light meal in the evening.

The cost of a room was quite expensive for 1 person.
